Fractora is a radio frequency treatment for the face and body.
If you are looking to minimize the appearance of stretch marks, treat acne, reduce the appearance of scars and discolored skin tone, or shrink the size of your pores, Fractora treatments can help.
Mostly used on the face and neck, but treatment can also be applied to other parts of the body, such as the arms, abdomen, thighs, or any other area the could benefit from tissue contraction.
Fractora is a fractional skin resurfacing and sub-dermal tissue coagulation device that bridges the gap between fractional lasers and surgical procedures.
Our Fractora patients enjoy firmer, smoother, more radiant skin that contributes to an overall younger appearance.
The Complete Facial Treatment
Combine Fractora with Forma to experience the complete facial treatment.
Forma is a non-invasive sub-dermal heating procedure used for collagen remodeling.
Tunable radio frequency (RF) allows for the epidermal tissues to reach optimal temperatures to promote remodeling an effort to combat skin irregularities.
At Fountain of You MD, we recommend Fractora Skin Tightening for patients who experience skin irregularities such as discoloration, overactive pores and sweat glands, cystic acne, and acne scars.
The Secret to Success
The Fractora treatment uses radio frequency to treat sagging skin, improve definition, and reduce the appearance of scars or discolored skin tone.
Topical or injectable numbing agents are applied to the treatment area in preparation of treatment. Patients feel a hot or warm sensation as the RF energy permeates the skin. Some swelling and redness may occur and may take up to a week to subside.
Sessions typically last 45 minutes – 2 hours and are based on individual patient needs. While results are gradual and some see improvements quickly, we recommend a series of 1-4 treatments spaced 3-5 weeks apart.
Following treatment, the skin may appear red, puffy, and shiny for up to a week following the procedure. Patients can prolong results with repeat treatments, proper sun protection, and an appropriate daily skin care regimen.
A handheld device with small pins creates tiny punctures in the skin and sends heat beneath the surface to promote collagen production. To ensure optimal results, multiple passes are made over each treatment area.
